how to fix the blackboard single sign-on error
This is a fix that DOES NOT require you to clear your passwords, browsing data and cache! Unlike every other fix there is out there.
Want to do E-Learning tasks on Blackboard/Polymall, but encounter this error?
The annoying error
Step 1
Go to Polymall: https://polymall.polytechnic.edu.sg/
Do so even if you are doing tasks on Blackboard, not Polymall.
Step 2
Click Login on the top right-hand corner. Choose another Polytechnic you are NOT studying in.
Click Login on the top right-hand corner.
Choose a polytechnic you are NOT studying in!
If you study in Temasek Polytechnic, click anything BUT Temasek Polytechnic.
Step 3
Sign out of your account. Your choice if you want to Sign out and forget.
Click Login on the top right-hand corner.
Step 4
Go Back to Polymall, and do a normal login. You can login to your own polytechnic now.
Login as you would normally do.
Step 5
Go back to your blackboard website and refresh. It should now work properly.
Tip: If prompted to "stay signed in", click "don't." Otherwise this error will happen again.
